What Ornametals is Thankful For This Year
It’s at this time of year that you are reminded of all the things you are grateful for. Running a business is not easy and there are many pieces and parts to a “well-oiled machine.” As the year closes with the holidays, we’d like to take the time to share what makes us thankful.
- A great team. It’s easy to point out the jobs we’ve done this year as the first but none of that would have been accomplished without great top-level management, office staff, sales, marketing, and of course our skilled craftsmen and installers. It really does take a village and we are happy to have each on the team.
- Amazing projects and companies. We’ve had the following opportunities with the following partner companies:
- Duke Chapel Project in Kentucky – Baker Roofing
- St. Francis Project in Virginia – Durable Slate
- 228 Atherton Project in California – Young’s Sheet Metal
- Private Project in China – Shanghai Kama Import and Export Company
- Dilworth Hotel Project in Michigan – Wright Building and Design
- Great products. Yes we are going to toot our horn a bit, but it is important that we point it out. Our gutters, which are made right here in our facilities, are a world-class system. With top of the line manufacturing equipment, we still have yet to get a job that we cannot produce.
- Excellent supply partners. While we make many products, we also have several world class suppliers that we coordinate with on specific products:
- Gromo
- Ungeheuer Soehne
- Invaluable Partners. We simply could not complete certain jobs without some outside experts to join our team. World-class and always prepared, these partners have our back:
- Kaufmann
- VMZinc-Umicore
- Canadian Brass and Copper
- For Home and Country. We are lucky to live in such a wonderful country that offers us so much opportunity and that values the preservation of its history. Much of our work comes from revitalizing cherished architecture for others to be thankful for in decades to come.
- Our Customers. We saved the best for last because without a customer, there is no business. It wouldn’t matter how great our products, team, or partners are, there would be no work. We thank each and every person and organization that gave us their trust.
All of our products and projects will last for a generation to come. The longevity of our work is truly a testament to the quality of the above mentioned people and products.
Thanks.
